Teppo Hilakivi works as a wind turbine technical expert at Puhuri, a company that develops and operates wind parks throughout northern Finland.
As the company's began to plan for turbines with higher and higher hub heights, Hilakivi knew he needed to use advanced wind measurement systems to help improve the quality of the annual energy projections. After trying out more than one remote sensing system, Hilakivi settled on the Vaisala Triton Wind Profiler because of the system's ease of use and reliability.
